Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream products from the truck menu Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately Prepare and serve ice cream cones, sundaes, floats, and other frozen treats following food safety standards Manage customer orders with quick service, ensuring timely delivery during busy periods Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including cleaning utensils, containers, and the truck's serving area Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and process cash transactions with accuracy Upsell additional toppings or specialty items to enhance customer experience and increase sales Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or food service environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants Familiarity with POS systems for retail transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation standards Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations Previous experience in retail sales transactions or cashiering is a plus Knowledge of food safety management practices to ensure proper handling and sanitation standards are met Join us to bring joy through delicious ice cream while developing your skills in a lively outdoor setting!
