Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Process cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales and tips Upsell menu items, including wine, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain knowledge of our menu offerings, including wine pairings, spirits, and food safety protocols Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently Ensure compliance with all food safety standards and sanitation procedures at all times Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to handle multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash safely Food safety certification or willingness to obtain required certifications prior to employment Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or cashier is beneficial Passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values enthusiasm, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality.
