Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems (Shift4) Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper handling of cash handling procedures and sales transactions Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas including tables, bar, and service stations Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine and menu options based on guest preferences Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience Support other team members with bussing tables, setting up stations, or assisting with food safety practices Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is not required; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, not required Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a lively setting Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs effectively Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is essential Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced environment!
