Job Description
Job Summary Join the Salty Pelican Fish Shack team as a Server , where you'll help create an outstanding guest experience from start to finish. In this role, you'll take orders, provide friendly and knowledgeable service, and ensure every guest leaves happy. If you enjoy fast-paced shifts, working with a team, and delivering great hospitality, we'd love to have you join us. Duties Greet guests and take food and drink orders accurately Communicate effectively with the kitchen to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time Serve food and beverages promptly, checking back to ensure guest satisfaction Answer guest questions professionally and make recommendations as needed Handle payments and close out checks accurately Maintain a clean and organized section/table area throughout the shift Collaborate with hosts, bussers, and kitchen staff to keep service running smoothly Skills / Requirements 1-2 years of experience as a server in a restaurant or similar food service environment Ability to work well with others and stay professional during busy, high-pressure moments Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask (timing, refills, checking in, delivering orders) in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of food and ability to accurately relay orders to the kitchen Gets along well with others and supports a positive team atmosphere Availability must be Wednesday through Sunday Join us to bring your hospitality talents to life at Salty Pelican Fish Shack .
