Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, efficient order handling, and expert beverage and food knowledge. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences Manage cash handling duties accurately, process payments efficiently, and handle credit card transactions securely Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling and beverage service procedures Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to engage guests effectively Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through strong time management and organizational skills Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is desirable Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays or supplies as needed, and work in a fast-paced environment Join our vibrant team where your passion for hospitality will shine!
