Job Description
Professional Fine-Dining ServerFlagler Station Steakhouse — Islamorada, Florida Flagler Station Steakhouse is seeking polished, experienced, and hospitality-driven servers to join our professional dining-room team. This position is designed for career-minded hospitality professionals who understand that exceptional fine-dining service requires more than taking orders. Our servers are expected to anticipate guests' needs, confidently guide the dining experience, and provide attentive, personalized service without being intrusive. Responsibilities Deliver polished, professional, and genuinely welcoming service. Demonstrate detailed knowledge of steaks, seafood, appetizers, sides, desserts, cocktails, spirits, and wine. Explain menu preparations and make thoughtful recommendations. Confidently suggest wine pairings, premium spirits, enhancements, and additional courses. Properly pace each table and coordinate service with the kitchen, bar, hosts, server assistants, and management. Follow fine-dining standards for table maintenance, course presentation, wine service, and clearing. Enter orders accurately and promptly into the POS system. Handle guest concerns discreetly and involve management when appropriate. Maintain immaculate personal presentation, station organization, and dining-room cleanliness. Complete all opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities. Follow all food-safety, alcohol-service, cash-handling, and company policies. Qualifications At least two years of recent upscale or fine-dining serving experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of steak temperatures, cuts of beef, seafood, wine, cocktails, and premium spirits. Excellent communication, timing, organization, and sales abilities. Professional appearance and a polished, confident presence. Ability to remain calm, gracious, and attentive during high-volume service. Dependable, punctual, and committed to teamwork. Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Able to stand and walk throughout the shift and safely carry trays and service items. Alcohol-service and food-handler certifications, or the ability to obtain them, may be required. What We Offer The opportunity to work in a refined steakhouse environment.
