From $14.00 per hour (will increase to $15.00 per hour on September 30, 2026) Job description: Palm Beach Restaurant New Upscale Restaurant Job Overview We are seeking experienced and dedicated Captains to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Captains will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position requires strong customers service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Adhere to service standards and operational procedures. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Utilize POS system (TOAST) for order processing and cash handling. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, proper food handling practices and alcohol beverage control policies. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Experience Proven experience in a similar role within the food service industry, preferably in fine dining or casual dining settings. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary experience is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
