Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled. Serve food and drinks efficiently, including wine and spirits, with a focus on presentation and guest satisfaction. Upsell menu items such as premium wines, cocktails, or specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including proper food handling and beverage service protocols. Process cash transactions accurately while managing tabs through systems like OpenTable or other POS platforms. Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation to educate guests and recommend pairings. Follow food safety guidelines diligently to uphold health standards and ensure guest safety at all times. Foster positive guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any concerns with professionalism. Experience Prior experience in fine dining restaurants or upscale hospitality environments is highly preferred. Proven skills in serving food and beverages with a focus on detail-oriented presentation. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales transactions. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations within the food industry. Excellent customer service skills combined with a friendly attitude that enhances guest experiences.
