Responsibilities Provide prompt, friendly, and professional beverage service directly to guests at their tables or designated locations during events or venue operations. Prepare and serve a variety of shot drinks, cocktails, and beverage recipes with precision and flair, adhering to established standards and recipes. Manage POS systems such as Toast POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of mobile bar stations, ensuring compliance with food safety and handling standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow, manage time effectively, and meet guest expectations in high-energy environments. Assist with beverage recipe development and suggestively sell specialty drinks to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly, including processing payments and providing correct change while maintaining accuracy. Requirements Previous experience in food service, beverage service, or hospitality industry roles such as bartending, catering, or banquet service is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems and experience with cash handling is essential. Strong understanding of mixology techniques, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and craft beer familiarity. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced settings. Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking across multiple service points during busy events or shifts. Basic math skills for food safety calculations, retail math, and cash transactions. Experience working in fine dining environments or with beverage programs involving beverage recipe development is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is required. Must be adaptable, energetic, detail-oriented, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
