Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes, beverages, and specials to enhance the dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Cake POS or CakePop POS, ensuring timely and correct processing of sales transactions Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to maximize sales opportunities Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth service flow Experience Previous food service experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances guest interactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest inquiries professionally Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with OpenTable reservations system is a plus but not required Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling practices, and sanitation standards is essential for success Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences through energetic service, culinary knowledge, and a commitment to excellence.
