Job Overview Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Aide/Server, where you will play a vital role in delivering nutritious, delicious meals to residents in an assisted living environments. Your energetic and compassionate approach will ensure residents receive exceptional food service while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer care. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills, gain valuable experience in food production and service, and contribute positively to residents' well-being. Responsibilities Assist with food handling, and serving to ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals to residents Support the dietary department by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas, including cleaning, bussing, and sanitation tasks Follow food safety protocols diligently during food handling and serving processes to uphold health standards Help with food production tasks such as portioning, assembling meals, and Server side work. Provide friendly customer service by attending to residents' dining needs with patience and professionalism Ensure proper food storage and inventory management in accordance with safety guidelines Support meal setup and cleanup activities to maintain a welcoming dining environment Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of food serving, sanitation, and food safety practices Experience in dietary aide roles or similar positions that involve food handling and customer service is advantageous Familiarity with kitchen operations including Server side work, meal preparation, and cleaning procedures Strong time management skills to efficiently coordinate meal services while adhering to schedules Background in dietetics or dietary department experience is a plus but not required Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety Join us in creating a warm, caring atmosphere where residents feel valued through nutritious meals prepared with expertise and compassion. Pay:
$14.50 - $15.50 per hour
