$15.00 per hour + tips Tips average $200 - $300 per day Job description: Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and energetic Servers Assistants / Bussers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepares dining room by cleaning and clothing tables; setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils. Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; marking tables; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs, Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies Ensure consistently clean glasses, silverware, table setups and working areas Maintains a thorough understanding of all menu items and is able to answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation Set-up and replenish condiments, stands, trash containers liners, and bus stations Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors; removing trash and recyclables from the facility Keeping the tables, chairs, banquettes, and floor of your station, and surrounding area, free of all debris Clearing a table in a timely manner (less than 1 minute after the last guest has finished eating) Cleaning the table between courses when necessary and ALWAYS cleaning after the main course has been cleared. Periodically "sweeping" the room offering water ALWAYS offer a fresh bottle of water the moment the current bottle is poured off Polishing cleaned silverware and plates. Returning clean and polished items to the dining room Resetting the table within two minutes of the last guest leaving the table. Assist in running food Complete opening and closing procedures in a timely manner Treat every guest and every co-worker with respect

Experience:

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
