Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly while ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of service. Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable, or similar systems is an advantage. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is required. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
