Responsibilities Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to dining areas using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices. Ensure all dishes are prepared according to quality standards before serving or plating for presentation. Assist with food running duties by delivering hot and cold items efficiently while maintaining food safety standards. Support the front-of-house team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas through regular cleaning and sanitation. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to confirm order accuracy and special requests. Help with food preparation tasks as needed, including portioning, garnishing, or organizing ingredients in the kitchen. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including food running, serving, or banquet experience.
