Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong guest service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy their meals while maintaining the highest standards of service in our fine dining establishment. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and attended to. Take accurate food and beverage orders using OpenTable or other systems, ensuring clarity and attention to detail. Provide recommendations on menu items, including specials, to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food handling and sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals. Buss tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries effectively. Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed, contributing to overall restaurant cleanliness and organization. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong guest services skills with a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential for maintaining health regulations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to work independently when necessary.
