Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders using the Square POS system and ensure timely delivery. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing tabs with the POS systems. Provide expert beverage service, including mocktail mixing and drink presentation to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols throughout service. Upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guests receive personalized recommendations based on their preferences. Assist with food preparation and bussing tables when needed to support smooth restaurant operations. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. Skills Proven experience with the Square POS system is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Culinary experience or food industry background preferred; knowledge of food safety standards essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items including spirits, wine, cocktails, and specialty beverages confidently. Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous; familiarity with beverage service and drink presentation is valued. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
