Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to a positive atmosphere within our establishment. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system (Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred). Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, while effectively upselling items. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely food preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures. Assist in training new staff members in serving techniques and restaurant policies as needed. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for accurate order taking, cash handling, and processing payments. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure. A commitment to upholding sanitation standards and food safety practices in all aspects of service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
