Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities by recommending specials or premium options like fine wines or craft cocktails Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and adhering to food safety protocols Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from arrival to departure Requirements Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; experience in fine dining or nightlife environments is a plus Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in order accuracy and timing Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs confidently Familiarity with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent communication skills paired with a proactive attitude towards upselling and sales transactions processing Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences!
