In this lively role, you'll act as the vital link between the kitchen and front-of-house service staff, ensuring that food is prepared, plated, and delivered swiftly and accurately. Your enthusiasm for hospitality and commitment to food safety will contribute to a vibrant, guest-focused environment. Responsibilities Efficiently deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and organizing orders to support kitchen staff. Clear and reset tables promptly by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils while maintaining cleanliness and organization. Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting trays, boxes, or supplies around the restaurant or banquet spaces. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, food handling areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely delivery of orders and special requests. Support in maintaining a smooth flow of service during busy hours by managing multiple tasks efficiently. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations to ensure guest safety at all times. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interaction. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for order management. Experience with food running, serving, bussing, or banquet service enhances your suitability for this role. A background in culinary arts or hotel experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
