Overview Join our vibrant team as an Ice Cream Server and Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face that creates memorable experiences for our guests! In this energetic role, you will serve delicious ice cream treats, operate POS systems efficiently, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, fun environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure every visitor leaves with a smile. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food service skills while working in a lively, customer-focused setting. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings Operate POS systems such as Clover POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Prepare and serve ice cream cones, shakes, bubble waffles, mini pancakes, and other frozen treats following food safety and sanitation standards Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including food handling stations, counters, and seating areas Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change Support food preparation tasks such as scooping, topping, and packaging to ensure quick service during busy hours Requirements Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Clover POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between serving customers and cashier duties Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and retail math calculations Experience in cashiering or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends
