Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. We are looking for servers who are punctual , reliable , and strong team players. We value individuals who don't make excuses , don't call off work , and are always willing to learn and improve. At Blackfish, we appreciate employees who are proactive , ready to find tasks and keep busy. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring high standards of presentation. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and sanitation practices is a plus. Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on hospitality. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
