Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for energetic, hospitality-driven Banquet Servers to elevate our events team. As the face of our brand, you will deliver seamless service for weddings, corporate galas, and private parties. You will create exceptional dining experiences by serving food and beverages efficiently, maintaining a pristine event space, and anticipating guest needs with warmth and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities Event Setup :
Set up banquet rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including placing table linens, dishware, silverware and glassware.
Table Service :
Serve multi-course meals, appetizers, and beverages professionally using proper service techniques.
Guest Relations :
Swift, professional resolution of guest requests.
Event Breakdown :
Clear tables efficiently during and after events, transport dirty dishware to banquet drop-off area, and return all items to the kitchen for cleaning.
Safety & Compliance :
Maintain strict adherence to food safety guidelines, sanitation standards, and responsible alcohol service protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience :
Food service, catering, or hospitality experience preferred.
Certifications :
Valid state food handler certification (ServSafe) required prior to start.
Age Limit :
Must be at least 17 years old.
Skills :
Clear verbal communication and active listening skills. Strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment with the ability to remain composed during high-stress events.
Attire :
A banquet server MUST provide their own uniform which consists of black pants, black socks and ALL black, comfortable shoes. Aprons and button shirt will be provided. •
Schedule :
Must have flexible availability to work open schedules, primarily consisting of nights and weekends. Physical Demands Requires high physical endurance in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to safely lift, carry, and balance heavy food trays weighing up to 30 lbs. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and navigating crowded event spaces. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay plus shared event gratuities. ($15/hour but with gratuity included it averages around $20-25/hour) Flexible, event-based scheduling is perfect for students or those seeking supplemental income. Opportunities for growth into banquet lead, bartending, or event coordination roles. Meal provided during long shifts.
