Job Description

Job overview The Beverage Server provides fast, friendly and courteous service to every customer, every time, while taking and serving beverage orders. Responsibilities for this Position 1. Follows all procedures involving Indiana alcohol rules and regulations. 2. Provides beverage service to guests in designated areas. 3. Provides prompt, courteous beverage refreshment service to guests. 4. Presents the drink order to the bartender and writes the check properly while waiting for drinks to be made. 5. Presents the drinks to the guest, presents the check to the guest, accepts payment and gives change when necessary. Requirements Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit. Previous beverage experience and experience dealing with the public preferred. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age upon employment and to work in a non-sensitive area of the Casino Must possess a valid employee alcohol permit. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required. Must possess excellent communication skills. Must be able to present change correctly and have knowledge of guest charge procedures. Must be familiar with tray service and have knowledge of cocktail ingredients. Must have mathematical ability including the ability to add and subtract. Knowledge of a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation. Must have excellent customer service and communications skills. Must be able to garnish drinks appropriately. Must be hands-on. Must always present a hospitality mentality--warm and generous. Must always ensure a teamwork environment.
Technical Requirements:
Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Requires strong organizational skills. Must be able to work independently. Able to be on your feet for long periods of time. Able to lift at least 50 pounds. Excellent people skills. Must meet grooming standards. We provide a substance free environment.
