Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The Server will be responsible for preparing for daily operations, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service while efficiently handling food preparation tasks. This position requires availability Monday - Sunday, scheduled hours range 3am - 2pm, with rotating hours and a scheduled day off. Responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate the Toast POS system for order processing and cash handling. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and assisting with any inquiries. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment throughout service hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests positively. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
