We are seeking a reliable and energetic Host / Food Runner / Busser to join our team. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for guests, supporting efficient food delivery from kitchen to table, and maintaining a clean, organized dining environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced setting, and is committed to providing excellent guest service.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival Manage waitlists and seating charts efficiently Answer phones and assist with reservations or guest inquiries Escort guests to tables and provide menus Communicate guest needs and seating updates to servers and managers Deliver food accurately and promptly from kitchen to guests Ensure food presentation and order accuracy before leaving kitchen Assist servers with table maintenance and guest requests as needed Clear and reset tables quickly and properly Refill water, assist with service station tasks, and support front-of-house flow Maintain cleanliness of dining room, host stand, restrooms, and service areas Stock service stations with necessary supplies Follow all sanitation, food safety, and restaurant procedures Work collaboratively with hosts, servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required Ability to stand, walk, lift trays/bus tubs, and move quickly for extended periods Strong communication and multitasking skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
