Responsibilities Supervise and support servers during each shift, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service Assist guests with menu selections, and upsell beverages and desserts Oversee food and beverage presentation, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards Process sales transactions accurately using Toast POS, including cash handling and processing credit card payments Lead upselling efforts to maximize sales opportunities by pushing monthly specials and add-ons. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food handling and sanitation protocols Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a memorable dining experience Communicate openly with management and fellow shift leads Required Skills Extensive knowledge of Toast POS system At least 3 years of experience in a full-service restaurant At least 1 year of leadership experience in a full-service restaurant Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively during busy shifts Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Well versed in wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest relations Ability to connect with coworkers and promote a cohesive work environment Preferred Skills Experience with reservation systems such as OpenTable is preferred but not required Previous experience in roles such as host/hostess or cashiering Knowledgeable about our cuisine and dining experience This Server Shift Lead role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about hospitality who want to grow their leadership skills while delivering outstanding guest experiences.
