Position Scope:

The Dining Room Associate provides table service and dining room set-up for our residents — the same familiar faces each shift. This is hospitality work built around relationships, consistency, and knowing the people you serve.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports the mission, core values and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision. Completes all hours of state mandated continuing education each year. Promotes and displays a spirit of teamwork in performance of daily duties through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments. Supports a positive and professional image through actions and dress. Promotes the property in a positive manner and effectively communicates the organization's values to residents, visitors, co-workers, and the community. Take food and drink orders from residents and guests accurately and with a positive attitude. Engage with residents in a friendly manner. Deliver meals to residents' rooms. Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions. Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Perform end of shift duties in dining and kitchen. Clear, clean, and set tables. Performs other duties consistent with the position as assigned.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a strong understanding of the English language, sufficient to speak, read and write. Experience providing excellent customer service. A positive attitude and ability to work well cooks and other staff. Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised. Ability to deliver orders in a timely manner. Flexible availability during dining operations hours, and servers must be willing to work any shift to meet staffing needs.
