Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Server/Cashier to join our vibrant team. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Process cash, credit card, and digital payments swiftly and accurately while handling cash transactions responsibly Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables as needed to ensure a tidy environment Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Manage reservations through OpenTable or similar platforms to optimize seating flow and guest satisfaction Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, answer questions about menu items, and promote specials or promotions Follow sanitation protocols diligently, including proper food handling and beverage service procedures Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Demonstrated ability in cash handling, processing sales transactions accurately, and managing customer payments Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances guest interactions Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that creates memorable guest experiences Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and processing payments confidently Experience in food safety standards and sanitation practices within the restaurant or food industry Join our team where your enthusiasm meets opportunity!
