In this energetic role, you will support the front-of-house operations by ensuring tables are promptly cleared and reset, food is efficiently delivered from the kitchen to guests, and the overall dining environment remains clean, organized, and inviting. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area. Safely transport food from the kitchen to guest tables using proper manual handling techniques. Assist servers by delivering food orders accurately and promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas through regular cleaning and bussing duties. Support the kitchen team with food handling, preparation assistance, and adhering to food safety standards. Manage heavy lifting tasks safely when handling supplies or equipment, following safe lifting practices. Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering basic questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures. Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory. Familiarity with kitchen or culinary environments enhances your ability to support the team effectively.
