Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately while managing tabs through POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu items based on guest preferences and culinary expertise Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash safely Food safety certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Previous experience with OpenTable reservations system is a plus Join us if you're passionate about hospitality and eager to deliver outstanding guest experiences!
