Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of food and drink options. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales, utilizing knowledge of the menu and current promotions. Manage tables effectively by bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, fostering a positive dining atmosphere. Support opening or closing duties as needed, including setup, cleaning, and restocking supplies. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly during busy hours. Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and calculating totals accurately. Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
