Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all service standards are met. Looking for someone for Saturdays and sundays Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, including Clover POS Provide detailed menu descriptions and recommendations to enhance guest experience through upselling techniques. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining attention to detail. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards. Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with basic math skills. Assist with training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings, is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking efficiently. Previous experience with restaurant POS systems such as OpenTable is advantageous. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. A background in hospitality, including host/host experience, is beneficial.
