Duties Clear and reset tables promptly, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout service Assist servers by delivering food and beverages swiftly from the kitchen to guests' tables using safe manual handling practices Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing as needed Support the kitchen staff with food handling and preparation tasks when necessary, adhering to food safety standards Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and seat customers efficiently as a host or hostess Manage guest inquiries courteously, providing excellent in-person customer service and addressing needs promptly Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required Assist with heavy lifting tasks, including moving supplies or equipment safely following proper lifting techniques Uphold sanitation standards by cleaning service stations, utensils, and dining areas regularly Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Knowledge of food safety protocols and food handling procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Familiarity with kitchen operations or banquet experience is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail Positive attitude with excellent guest service skills and a team-oriented mindset Join us in delivering outstanding service with energy and professionalism!
