Duties Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally at banquet events, including fine dining settings and large gatherings Assist with food presentation, table setting, and food handling to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety Buss tables promptly, clear dishes, and reset tables to prepare for the next service cycle Provide attentive guest services by addressing needs, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction Support beverage service including wine pouring, drink refilling, and operating POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including catering options, wine selections, and specialty beverages such as coffee or cocktails Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper handling and sanitation throughout service Experience Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is highly desirable, especially in banquet or catering settings Culinary or food service experience that includes serving, food preparation, or fine dining is a plus Familiarity with guest relations and customer service principles to create welcoming atmospheres Knowledge of beverage service techniques including wine knowledge and drink presentation Experience operating POS systems for order processing and payments during events Basic math skills for handling bills and cash transactions accurately Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Bartending experience is a plus!
