Job Description:
Sterling National Country Club, is currently looking for dependable Banquet Servers with positivity and professionalism to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in banquet and or restaurant service. Night and weekend availability required. Must be 18+. The Banquet Event Server will provide exceptional service during events for both clients and members and their respective guests. Assist with the preparation, execution, and closeout of scheduled events. Enhance event experiences by following proper service procedures and by anticipating member and guest needs. The Club prides itself on a strong collaborative team environment with self-motivated individuals. Characteristics of a successful banquet event server include willingness and ability to interact and communicate courteously and politely with guests, members and fellow team members, upholding a positive and professional demeanor.
Availability:
Some weekdays (primarily Monday and Tuesdays), as well as weekend availability as needed Qualifications Banquet experience in a high energy environment. Experience in food service and or hospitality. Exude stellar customer service abilities. Experience in a restaurant, hotel or other hospitality setting a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team dynamic. Be a productive member of the team by arriving on time in a positive frame of mind Responsibilities Assisting in the preparation, execution, and close out of the scheduled event. Bussing, serving and clearing tables of food, beverages, and decorations. Proper and courteous communication with members and guests. Assisting with the setup and breakdown of events; placing tables, chairs, linens as well as other aspects of the event as listed on the BEO Close-out responsibilities.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.50 per hour
