Banquet Server (Part-Time)

Company:

A well-established full-service catering company serving the Baltimore/Washington area for nearly 40 years.

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking professional and reliable Banquet Servers to join our catering team. As a server, you'll be part of an experienced and dedicated hospitality staff, ensuring guests receive excellent service during catered events. This is a temporary with opportunities for ongoing assignments based on performance and scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests upon arrival
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, following service standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas
• Bus tables and reset between courses or after meals
• Fold napkins, set linens, and arrange tables according to specifications
• Assist with setup and breakdown of event space
• Communicate guest concerns promptly to supervisor
• Ensure all side duties and closing tasks are completed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the event supervisor or banquet captain

Requirements:

• Previous experience in banquet, catering, or hospitality preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be punctual, dependable, and professional
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Dress Code:

Professional attire is required:

• Black dress pants or khakis (no jeans or cargo pants)
• Black button-down shirt (no t-shirts unless otherwise instructed)
• Black shoes (no sneakers, Crocs, or slippers)
• Black socks and black belt
