Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcome and valued. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Digital POS. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions, while effectively upselling to enhance guest satisfaction. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining proper presentation standards. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience in a server role is preferred, with Irish pub experience being a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial for understanding menu items better. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining sanitation standards. Basic math skills for processing payments and managing tabs effectively. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
