Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Handle food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures diligently to maintain health standards Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently during transactions Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow Foster positive guest relations through excellent communication, attentive service, and resolving any concerns promptly Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices Demonstrated ability in customer service, upselling, and sales techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Experience with food handling, basic math for cashiering, and guest relations enhances success in this role Prior host/hostess or serving experience provides a solid foundation for delivering exceptional guest experiences Strong teamwork skills Join us to be part of a lively team where your energy makes a difference!
