Job Description

Job Summary Taproot Cellars is a Cidery partnered with Taproot Farmstead just five miles from downtown Traverse City. In this role, you'll be the face of our cider bar, creating memorable experiences for guests through excellent service, cider and small plate knowledge, and a friendly attitude. You'll help guide guests through our curated selections, serve beverages with precision, and ensure every visit is enjoyable and seamless. The ideal candidate is passionate about agro tourism, enjoys engaging with people, and will work directly with our head cider maker and chef in a team environment. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality, especially in fine dining or beverage service environments. Knowledge of wine tastings and pairing, and beverage presentation techniques. Experience with POS systems Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling duties. Food handling certification or knowledge of food safety practices is desirable; culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus. Friday & Saturdays 12-7 for now This role offers a dynamic environment to develop your hospitality skills while providing exceptional experiences for our guests.
Pay:
$17.00 - $30.00 per hour
