Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. This position will start the week of August 10. The position offers 1 to 2 - 6hr shifts per week, and stop gap opportunities as they arise. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding guest services, ensuring that each patron feels welcomed and valued. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Present menus, provide detailed information about menu items, and make recommendations based on guest preferences. Take accurate food and beverage orders using a cash register or point-of-sale system. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations according to health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while adhering to cash handling procedures. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and processing payments effectively. Knowledge of food preparation and handling practices to ensure safe dining experiences for guests. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining atmosphere through effective communication and interpersonal interactions. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
