Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS system Micros POS to ensure seamless transactions. Serve breakfast items promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation. Setting up and maintaining a breakfast buffet when offered. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities. Offer and make morning cocktails and specialty coffees. Clear tables efficiently, bus dishes, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery during busy morning hours. Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries, accommodating special requests, and fostering positive guest relations throughout the service. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments swiftly at the POS station. Assist with opening duties such as setting up tables, ensuring all dining areas meet cleanliness standards, and preparing for service. Support other team members as needed in food prep or light kitchen duties to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates welcoming atmospheres for guests. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy breakfast hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining professionalism and guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions; cashiering experience is beneficial. Experience in food preparation or kitchen support roles enhances your ability to serve effectively. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment within fast-paced hospitality settings.
