Job Summary We're on the lookout for a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you'll be the vital link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that food reaches tables promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel cared for from the moment they order to the final bite. Responsibilities Deliver hot and cold dishes from the kitchen to guests' tables efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards. Assist servers by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and attending to guest needs to enhance their dining experience. Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during transportation and handling of dishes. Support sanitation procedures by keeping service stations clean and organized throughout your shift. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff about any special requests or dietary restrictions noted by guests. Help maintain a positive atmosphere by providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours. Experience Previous restaurant experience or familiarity with food service operations is a plus but not required. Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety management is beneficial. Experience using POS (Point of Sale) systems or similar technology is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with an approachable, helpful demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to learn about food handling practices and restaurant procedures.
