Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an outstanding dining experience for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Assist with inventory management by keeping track of supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment. Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food service practices is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering exceptional guest services.
