Server/Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong background in food service. This role involves taking orders, serving food, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation while providing exceptional service. Possible day and night shift positions for cashier, for servers we are looking primarily for night staff (3-9pm). While previous restaurant/serving expirence is preferred, we train on site so it is not a necessity. Pay is primarily tip based for servers. Cashiers make tips as well as hourly. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner. Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately using POS systems (Toast). Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations in the kitchen and dining areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Preferred Skills Strong background in food service with experience in quick service or fast food restaurants preferred. Proficient in using POS systems (Toast) for order processing and cash handling. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales. Solid understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Previous restaurant or culinary experience is highly desirable.
