Waitress / Server Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Waitress/Server to join our team in a busy upscale casual dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will deliver polished, attentive service while creating a warm and professional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional table service in a fast-paced upscale casual environment. Greet guests, take accurate orders, make thoughtful recommendations, and anticipate needs. Deliver food and beverages promptly and with proper presentation standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area throughout the shift. Handle payments, process transactions accurately, and manage tip procedures. Communicate clearly with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service. Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed. Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and restaurant policies. Required Qualifications Minimum of five years of experience as a server in an upscale casual dining restaurant. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Excellent communication, multitasking, and guest-relations skills. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-30 lbs as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with POS systems.
