Your ability to manage multiple tables, process transactions accurately, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere will be key to your success. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service from arrival to departure Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling cash handling and sales transaction processing Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu options based on guest preferences Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods or special events such as nightclub nights or fine dining services Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations effectively Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques including spirits experience and drink service expertise Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations within the food industry Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling; previous cashiering experience is advantageous Excellent communication skills coupled with a hospitality mindset focused on creating memorable guest experiences Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional service in a vibrant environment where your energy makes a difference!
