As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality food service in a professional and friendly manner. Responsibilities Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations. Serve food and beverages to guests during events, ensuring prompt and courteous service. Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Clear tables and assist with the breakdown of events, ensuring all items are cleaned and returned to their proper place. Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure seamless service during events. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively. Uphold the highest standards of guest services throughout the event, addressing any guest needs or concerns promptly. Experience Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, particularly in banquet or catering settings. Strong background in guest services, demonstrating an ability to create positive experiences for guests. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable. Experience in food preparation or bartending is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
