Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and beverage service, while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and give correct change Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in food service roles such as server, bartender, or host/hostess within a restaurant or hospitality setting Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong understanding of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices in the food industry Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest relations and team collaboration Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving tables and processing sales Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation enhances ability to recommend menu items confidently Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions efficiently Familiarity with wine knowledge, spirits experience, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Nightclub experience or fine dining background preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential Join us as a Server where your enthusiasm fuels memorable dining moments!
