Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, and guide them to their tables with professionalism. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct for timely preparation. Provide menu recommendations, upsell specials and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety protocols. Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Address guest inquiries promptly, resolve concerns effectively, and foster positive guest relations to promote repeat business. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a Server in a restaurant or food service environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tables efficiently. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising service quality. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing.
