Duties Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing dishes, and resetting for new guests to ensure a smooth flow of service Support food running efforts by delivering orders efficiently from kitchen to table while maintaining food safety standards Handle cleaning duties including sanitizing tables, chairs, and service stations to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, supplies, and equipment following safe lifting practices Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest needs are met Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately for order entry and processing payments when required Assist with food preparation and setup for banquet events or special functions to support seamless event execution Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and basic kitchen operations is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Familiarity with restaurant duties including bussing, serving, and food running enhances your fit for the role Prior banquet or hospitality experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate This energetic role invites motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
